Snobby Misconceptions

I suppose I'm in a contemplative mood right now. I've noticed that most people take what as I say as negative. I believe they see me as someone who is extremely judgmental, but I don't believe I am that kind of person. I'm not saying that I do not pass judgment because that would just be a lie. However, that is not to say that I look down upon everyone and everything 24/7.

Although you readers may not know me, what am I doing wrong? Do I really give off an aura of snobiness? Thinking this over just adds to my predicament as it's making my mood rather negative.

I suppose what I'm trying to get at is, what can I change about myself to give off the right perception? I do try and phrase my sentences in such a way that it wouldn't be hurtful, so I suppose that's out.

Please help me out, whoever's out there.

P.S. Did you find that snobby?

  2. I somewhat agree with Gloria. Could be the fact i've known you for a while now that I don't really notice thsi so called "snobbiness" anymore. Mostly it's prob cuz i'm used to it. I dunno you shouldn't really change who you are because that's the essence of MC!

  3. Speaking as a person who just met you...a few months ago (?), I never once thought you were snobby. Being judgemental and unafraid to voice your own opinions, isn't really snobby--in MY opinion.

You tell things like they are. If people are offended, they are taking things too personally and not being appreciative of good old sincerity. Personally, I feel people have become too obsessed with putting up a "nice" front and sucking up to each other in order to network and have everyone like them. This is a pathetic attempt at developing superficial relationships and the impossible, respectively.
