My friend recently sent me a link to this page. It's about a program that should allow you to be able to perform 100 push ups by the end of it. Over the span of 6 weeks, the number of push ups increases until you reach 100 push ups. There is also a test to see where you should start and I suppose how fast you can finish.
I started the test for the program and managed to finish a measly 10 push ups. As stated in one of my previous posts, I am out of shape. Having scored 10 push ups, I rank myself in column 2 when starting the program. Looking over the regime, this program seems to be quite simple. You begin by doing a large amount of push ups at the beginning and slowly decrease to compensate for your fatigue. Consecutive sessions require more push ups counting on the fact that you will acquire more upper body strength. I must admit I am quite intrigued by this concept. Thus, I am beginning this 100 push up challenge starting Monday April 19, 2010. Overall, I hope this will make my arms a little more distinguished and hopefully allowing my clothes to fit a bit better.
